Price saves this keyboard

You have my keyboard in another location. Once is enough for up to 12 hours or more during the 6 weeks. Once the volume is above average, the speakers crackle. And do not throw water on him or anything, it is. It feels nothing like a real piano - I have a piano at an average price and I bought this keyboard so I can play in my room with headphones on. No doubt, pressures, how much can be put on the keys, it will sound the same. This means that not stacatto, not a change in volume at all. It 's really a huge obstacle to the growth of most of the songs played.

The settings are pretty useless for the most part, never use, but beginners can. The only thing that saves this keyboard is the price - I paid less than $ 100 for it, so I really can not complain too much. I'm just starting to play again, and do not spend much money anyway, because I have a plan. If you are a beginner and do not want to take a significant financial commitment, you should get. However, if you're sure going to play or looking for intermediate / advanced, go to a better instrument. The quality difference between this model and the $ 300 + is significant.

No complaints - a very good keyboard to start out with.

For beginners like me, this package (keyboard + microphone + stand + power supply) was perfect. An experienced friend advised me to opt for a touch screen keyboard, but it's the right way to proceed. You can probably find a smaller keyboard, which has no reaction to touch, but it would sound very good, and want to upgrade fast enough. There are alternative sounds, which are rarely used other gaffes in which the whole, and a large number of rhythm tracks and other digital effects, does not need, but they are there and working poor.

I've also not experimented with the USB, MP3 or MIDI I/O functions, as mine didn't seem to come with any connectors for those. The irony is, I would think people who need that stuff would probably also get a fancier keyboard, but who knows...

This keyboard has some built in "education" functions, which are kind of fun and very patient to help, but are more focused on novice, as it helps to read all the fingers on your hands and play along with the accompaniment. It 's interesting when you're stuck in a song, accompanying stop and wait for you, and the voice says that the number of fingers used (thumb "One" =, etc.). When you press the right button, the song goes with you. It does not do much to help you read music, I think, but it would be a lot of questions. The digital display shows the correct key lesson (s) to press a key diagram which finger (s) to be used in the schematic page, and in fact account (s) on staff, but the staff is very small small and not very useful to learn how to translate the comments the piano key. You'll want to try this level of education elsewhere.

It would be better to have a set that pedal, but this omission was not a problem at this early stage. This can be purchased individually if desired. I highly recommend this as a keyboard. And do not count on it as a source of information for a user. At least, ask for the "For Dummies" book or something like that, I started to read music.

Best Quality Keyboard for the Price!

I do not think I could find a better price CTK3000 a Casio keyboard. After much research I decided on this keyboard because of the number keys and the fact that it came with a stand-pilot, a helmet and a charger. To me, an adult who is learning to play the piano, it was important for me to have a helmet, so it was disturbing everyone in the house. The keyboard is very easy to use. I have not even read the manual. I just plugged in and started practicing.

The stand is a bit difficult to adjust and not be connected securely to the bar as I want, but it is unstable or something. The keyboard layout is just above the base. This is not a problem for adults, but if you want this keyboard for a child, then you should take this into account. This keyboard works correctly on a communal table, until you have one that is at a suitable height for playing. I use the keyboard on the table more than I use it on the stand, but I'm glad to have support for all the times I have to use it.

The keyboard also comes with a little bar that you insert into the back of the keyboard to hold your sheet music or lesson book. There is a groove at the top center of the keyboard to prevent the sheet music/book from slipping. I found that the other reviews I read and the product description didn't note that the keyboard does have a space to hold music. Of course that may be something that is just standard on keyboards, but, as a piano novice, I was not aware of this.
