It could not be happier

I am a musician who plays several instruments and I always wanted to learn to play the piano. I played the keyboard at the local level and was impressed by the price of sound, and portability - so I asked "Santa" and put it under a tree. THANKS SANTA! One partition: Amazon [UPS sends it in the box unmarked, so surprise was ruined when it was delivered to our door before Christmas.

I played a practice for 10 watts and it looks great. (Speakers are fine, but not too much). Keyboard should be at the level of the mind is the Pro speakers are not at all - if you think that the construction of the bonus. It feels great even on the helmet. I also have my own digital recording studio at home, and give a very clean, no noise.

The keyboard feel is *so much more* than I would expect from a $300 instrument. This is *not* a toy, it's an instrument. Please don't let the affordable price tag fool you! In fact, if you are looking for something for a 10 year old to be amused with, perhaps you're better off with more bells and whistles. If you want an affordable, light instrument, to really make music with, this is the one to get.

Tonight is the first time that I will be playing out with it (at an open mic). Most keyboard players I know don't even bother going to open mics - who wants to lug a 100 pound keyboard for three songs? But the portability of this unit means I am going to be already out and enjoying myself. For me, that makes it so much more useful and fun than anything even three times the price and 'quality'. This keyboard is only slightly larger than my guitar, and just as easy to carry!

If these keys are smaller (as another reviewer seems to think), I can't tell. I could not find that verified anywhere but this one review. I'm aware that they are electronically 'weighted' (and that's how they made it so inexpensively), but I find I can play with all the expression I could ask for. Bravo.

It 's true that there are not many votes - but above all a big mess. And accompanied by songs, I'm using two pianos and one that combines both the piano and strings. Once again, not many bells and whistles, but well-executed simplicity. I have not tried lunch in / out and bought a Yamaha sustain pedal FC-5 Sustain portable electronic keyboards, it works perfectly. This is not a full MIDI controller (not enough memory to change the patch), but this is not what he does. I also had a 60 million cases of Yamaha, I am very happy - but can not find it on Amazon. Try Google YBNP30.

All in all, I can't see how anyone could invent a better instrument in its class.
